Calling from abroad: +44 203 617 4331

Telephone hours listed by Lyca: Monday–Saturday, 09:00–18:00 GMT. The published Pay Monthly information does not list Sunday phone hours. Lyca describes calls to 322 from a Lyca SIM as free for Pay Monthly customers.

Choose your account type above: PAYG and Pay Monthly have different numbers when calling from another UK phone.

Contact details last checked: 18 October 2026. Numbers and opening hours can change. If a number does not connect, check Lyca's official customer service page for PAYG or the Pay Monthly support information.

Lyca's help page leads to its LIA chat assistant, which Lyca advertises as available 24/7, and to self-service help for your SIM and account. This is an official support link, not a sales link.

DealPriceCheck is an independent comparison website, not Lyca Mobile customer support. We cannot access your account, fix a billing problem or respond to a complaint on Lyca's behalf.

How long does a Lyca email reply take?

Lyca currently tells PAYG customers that email replies can take five to seven working days. Its published Pay Monthly information says replies can take up to 48 business hours. Neither figure is a guaranteed response time, so if you need your number or mobile data working urgently, phone or live chat is usually the better first step.

What should you include in an email to Lyca?

Start with your Lyca mobile number, account type, a short description of the problem, when it started and any order or reference number. For billing issues, include the payment date and amount; for a technical fault, add your phone model and postcode. For PAYG, Lyca publishes different identification details for customers with a MyLycaMobile account and those without one; follow the instructions on its official contact page so your request is not delayed. Send information only through verified Lyca channels, and never send passwords, one-time codes or full bank-card details.

What is the fastest way to fix common Lyca problems?

Identify the problem before you start a chat, because having the right details ready can save a second conversation.

ProblemFirst stepWhat to tell support if it continues
Physical SIM not connectingRestart the phone, check the SIM is seated correctly and try automatic network selectionLyca number, phone model, error message and postcode
eSIM QR code failsCheck that your phone supports eSIM and follow the activation instructions for your purchaseOrder reference, phone model and the exact activation error; never share private activation credentials publicly
Mobile data or 4G/5G not workingConfirm mobile data is switched on, check your remaining allowance and try another locationWhen the fault began, locations affected, phone and plan details
Top-up paid but not showingCheck your account and keep the payment confirmation before paying againPayment time, amount, transaction reference and account number
Renewal or unexpected chargeCompare the charge with the plan's checkout, renewal and add-on termsStatement date, plan name, amount and any screenshots
Keeping your old numberCheck that your PAC transfer was submitted and whether Lyca has given a dateBoth numbers, PAC status and any transfer reference; never publish the PAC online
SIM lost or damagedUse Lyca's official contact or My Lyca SIM-swap route promptlyAccount details for identity checks and a safe replacement

These are first checks, not a diagnosis. A phone can show full signal while data fails because of a local fault, an exhausted allowance, a phone setting or an account restriction. If you suspect a wider service problem, start with Lyca's coverage and service information. Ofcom's mobile coverage checker shows predicted signal, but it is not a live outage dashboard.

What if your SIM or eSIM will not activate?

Use the activation route that came with your purchase. For an eSIM, confirm that your phone is compatible, that you have an internet connection for set-up and that you are using the correct QR code or activation instructions. A QR code that has already been used may not scan again on another phone, so contact Lyca through an official channel for the correct recovery steps. For a physical SIM, make sure the phone is unlocked, restart it and check whether the SIM is detected. Do not post a full ICCID, QR code or account-security message on a public forum.

What if a top-up or payment goes wrong?

Account credit and an active bundle are different things: adding credit does not necessarily mean the data or calling bundle you wanted has been bought. Check your account for the transaction, the active product and its renewal date. If a top-up was charged but nothing appeared, keep the receipt and ask support to trace the payment before trying again. Lyca's help and contact page is the official route.

What if your number transfer is delayed?

To bring your old number to Lyca you normally get a PAC from your previous provider and submit it to Lyca. See the official Lyca number-transfer guide and our guide to keeping your number when switching. Do not cancel your old service before the transfer is arranged. If your number stops working after the agreed transfer window, give Lyca the transfer reference and the date you expected it to finish.

How do you make a formal complaint to Lyca Mobile?

If a problem is still unresolved, ask for it to be registered as a formal complaint, not as another support enquiry. Explain what happened, when it started and what you want, such as restored service, a corrected charge or a written explanation. Keep copies of correspondence and payment evidence, and note the dates you contacted Lyca.

Start through the official Lyca contact page, and see Lyca's Customer Code of Practice for its current procedure. Ask for a complaint reference and a written response if the matter is not resolved.

If Lyca cannot resolve it, Ofcom says eligible customers can use a free independent Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) service after the waiting period, or earlier if Lyca issues a deadlock letter. For complaints raised on or after 8 April 2026, the standard waiting period is six weeks instead of eight. Ofcom currently lists Lyca Mobile under the Communications Ombudsman scheme, and you should confirm the current scheme and your eligibility on Ofcom's ADR guidance. You do not have to buy a new SIM or use an affiliate link to complain.

What if you want to leave Lyca Mobile?

First decide whether you need to keep your number. A PAC transfers your number to another provider, and a STAC is the switching code if you do not want to keep it. Check any contract charges and any remaining prepaid credit before you move. See our mobile number switching guide and all UK SIM-only deals if you want to compare alternatives.

If you are joining Lyca instead, check local signal with Ofcom's mobile coverage checker, then compare selected Lyca Mobile SIM deals for suitable data, the full-period price and international-calling conditions. A specialist country-calling package is not included in every standard SIM-only offer.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Lyca Mobile customer care number in the UK?

For PAYG, call 322 from a Lyca SIM or 0207 132 0322 from another UK phone. For Pay Monthly, call 322 from a Lyca SIM or 0203 617 4331 from another network. Use the number for your account type and check the hours above.

What number do I call Lyca from abroad?

PAYG customers can call +44 207 132 0322 and Pay Monthly customers +44 203 617 4331. Calls from overseas may cost extra, so check your rates first.

Is 322 free from a Lyca Mobile phone?

Lyca describes calls to 322 as free from a Lyca SIM in both its published PAYG information and its Pay Monthly guidance. Calls from other networks or abroad may be charged; check the current terms if needed.

Is Lyca customer service available 24 hours?

Telephone support is not advertised as 24/7. PAYG phone hours are Monday to Saturday, 07:00–23:00 GMT, and Pay Monthly hours are Monday to Saturday, 09:00–18:00 GMT. Lyca advertises its LIA chat assistant as available 24/7, which does not mean a human agent is available at all hours.

How do I contact Lyca by email?

For PAYG, email [email protected]. For Pay Monthly, email [email protected]. Include what Lyca needs to identify your account and describe the problem, but never send passwords or bank-card details.

How do I chat with Lyca Mobile?

Open Lyca's official Help & Contact page and start its LIA chat assistant. For Pay Monthly help, Lyca also links to LIA from its Pay Monthly information.

What if Lyca does not fix my problem?

Use the official chat or email route and ask for a formal complaint if the problem is not resolved. Keep a record of it. If it stays unresolved, an eligible complaint can go to an independent ADR scheme under Ofcom's current rules.

Is DealPriceCheck an official Lyca Mobile support website?

No. DealPriceCheck is an independent UK SIM comparison website. We publish contact information and buying guides, but we cannot access Lyca accounts or handle disputes. Use the official contact options at the top of this page for support.

Sources, independence and contact-date policy

We checked the phone numbers, email addresses and advertised opening hours in this guide against Lyca's official PAYG contact page and Pay Monthly support information on 18 October 2026. Complaint escalation information comes from Ofcom's ADR guidance. We have not independently tested telephone waiting times or support outcomes.

Contact details and hours can change independently of the site's tariff catalogue, and the verification date above is not a live-status guarantee. If an option fails, check the official support page. Customer-service links go directly to Lyca, not through an affiliate programme; the optional shopping link is labelled separately near the top.
