Lebara vs O2: Is Switching to Lebara Worth It?

Tariff examples checked 29 October 2026. Prices in calculations are snapshots, not current-price guarantees.

Switching from O2 to Lebara is worth considering if you can pay less for the data you actually use without giving up reliable signal or valuable O2 benefits. On 29 October 2026, our selected Lebara cards showed 30GB at £8 per 30 days and 50GB at £9; O2's standard PAYG Rolling Plans were £15 and £20 per calendar month for the same allowances. These are specific products, not proof that Lebara beats every O2 offer. Other O2 promotions, including cheaper 50GB deals sold through other channels, may narrow or reverse the gap; compare the O2 price actually available to you, not only the standard Rolling benchmark.

Quick decision: switch if Vodafone reception is good and the verified Lebara checkout saves you money after any lost benefits. Stay if O2 works substantially better indoors or a Priority, Rewards, Volt or Pay Monthly commitment changes your real cost. Test first with a temporary Lebara number if your O2 line is important for work or banking. If you still owe O2 exit charges, calculate those before transferring your number.

Which Lebara and O2 SIM deals are worth comparing?

These are DealPriceCheck catalogue examples checked on 29 October 2026. O2's rows below are Pay As You Go Rolling Plans, not O2 Pay Monthly contracts. Lebara rows are separate catalogue offers, and different 30GB or 50GB Lebara products can have different prices and calling benefits.

Why the exact Lebara card matters: our catalogue also lists a different Lebara 30GB card at £10 and 50GB card at £15. The £8 and £9 tracked offers may have separate eligibility, introductory pricing, renewal dates or international-minute entitlements. Neither the linked deal card nor the operator's standard tariff page proves those cheaper prices will recur for a whole year. Open Full plan details, then View Deal, and confirm the exact payment schedule and inclusions before switching.

For someone using 6GB, buying 50GB just because its cost per gigabyte is low is unnecessary. For a customer using 35–45GB, the matched 50GB rows are more meaningful. If you use 65GB, both 50GB options are inadequate regardless of their apparent savings. Check your recent usage or our guide to choosing a data allowance.

Can O2 beat the prices in this comparison?

Yes. Our O2 examples deliberately use O2's standard prepaid Rolling Plans, because their published allowances, rollover and international-minute rules are clear and directly comparable with Lebara's flexible 30-day products. They do not represent the cheapest O2 SIM available through every retailer, promotion or retention offer. Some UK deal listings advertise an O2 50GB SIM for much less than £20, but those offers are not the same PAYG Rolling Plan and may have different contract terms, introductory steps or retailer eligibility. This article compares the clearly documented standard O2 Rolling product with a specific Lebara affiliate card, not the cheapest O2 deal in the UK. Check the actual O2 offer available to you and its full payment schedule.

If you already pay £8–£10 for 50GB on O2, do not assume the £9 Lebara card is a saving. Compare the amount you would actually avoid paying over your remaining O2 agreement with every payment in the Lebara offer. Conversely, if you are paying £20 for O2's 50GB Rolling Plan and Vodafone works reliably, the £9 card is a genuinely relevant switching candidate. The value of switching depends on the offer you can really buy and its later payments.

Lebara 30GB vs O2 30GB: the meaningful mid-data comparison

At the checked prices, Lebara's 30GB rolling offer was £8 for each 30-day bundle, while O2's standard 30GB Rolling Plan was £15 for each calendar-month renewal. Both provide 30GB of UK data. The advertised charge gap is £7 per payment, but you should not call that exactly £7 per calendar month because the renewal cycles differ.

O2's qualifying 30GB Rolling Plan has data rollover and 100 international minutes to 42 eligible countries under O2's official Rolling Plan terms. Lebara promotes international minutes on its own 30GB products, but our £8 affiliate card does not specify the destination list or number of included minutes. It would be misleading to assign that card the 100 minutes shown on a separate £10 Lebara product without checking the final offer.

If Vodafone is strong where you live and you do not rely on O2's extras, Lebara is a compelling starting point. If a qualifying O2 plan saves you repeated top-ups or includes calls that the exact Lebara offer does not, add those costs before switching.

Compare: Lebara 30GB · O2 30GB Rolling.

Lebara 50GB vs O2 50GB: the strongest like-for-like saving

Our Lebara 50GB 30-day card was £9 per renewal; O2 50GB Rolling was £20 per monthly payment. The headline allowances match, and the difference is £11 per payment, before accounting for different billing periods or plan benefits.

The standard O2 50GB Rolling terms describe 100 eligible international minutes and data rollover. Lebara's standard publicly advertised 50GB product has its own international-call allowance, but the £9 tracked deal is a separate offer whose precise calls and roaming terms are not documented on our card. Someone making international calls every week must confirm what the £9 offer actually includes rather than assume that every Lebara 50GB SIM is identical.

If you have a discounted O2 rate, a retention offer, or an O2 Pay Monthly package rather than the £20 Rolling Plan, substitute your actual bill into the comparison. The difference could be smaller, zero or even reversed. Compare the final payment schedule before choosing either card.

Compare: Lebara 50GB · O2 50GB Rolling.

Does a 12-month Lebara SIM save more than rolling?

Not automatically. At the same catalogue check, Lebara also showed a 30GB 12-month card at £9 per month and a 50GB 12-month card at £13.50 per month. The highlighted 30-day cards were cheaper per renewal at £8 and £9 respectively.

This does not make every 12-month Lebara deal poor value. The offers may differ in eligible calls, promotions or conditions; the short term may not remain available at the same price. But it does disprove the lazy assumption that a longer Lebara commitment always gives a lower bill. Compare exact benefits and total minimum-term liability before accepting the extra commitment. See our 12-month SIM buying guide for the wider decision.

How much could you really save by switching from O2 to Lebara?

A fair calculation must distinguish twelve charges from the money paid during the first 365 days. Lebara's chosen bundles renew every 30 days. O2 Rolling Plans renew by calendar month. Twelve Lebara bundles cover only 360 days, so an uninterrupted first year usually involves a thirteenth Lebara payment starting on day 361, which also buys service beyond the 365th day.

Here are transparent illustrations using the 29 October 2026 catalogue prices, assuming you start both options on day one, each charge remains unchanged, you keep renewing, and you incur no extras:

Equivalent UK dataO2: 12 calendar-month paymentsLebara: 12 payments / 360 daysLebara: payments due for continuous cover through day 365Difference in first-year cash paid
30GB12 × £15 = £18012 × £8 = £9613 × £8 = £104£76 less with Lebara
50GB12 × £20 = £24012 × £9 = £10813 × £9 = £117£123 less with Lebara

These figures show cash paid during the first 365 days, not equal-length service purchased or guaranteed savings; the thirteenth Lebara payment also covers days after day 365. Crucially, the selected £8 and £9 card pages do not publish a full post-promotion renewal schedule.

What if the cheap Lebara price ends after three renewals?

A price step can change the answer substantially. The following are hypothetical sensitivity tests, not confirmed terms of the £8 or £9 Awin offers. They keep O2 on its stated standard Rolling price and assume no extra charges:

Matched dataLebara hypothetical payment pattern over 13 renewalsLebara cash paidO2 cash paid over 12 calendar monthsDifference before lost benefits
30GBFirst 3 × £8, then 10 × £10£124£180£56 less
50GBFirst 3 × £9, then 10 × £15£177£240£63 less

The £10 and £15 later prices here are illustrative assumptions, not verified steps for the cheaper tracked products. If your O2 tariff is a discounted £8 50GB offer, even a Lebara £9 starting price may not save money. Calculate from the actual checkout's first and subsequent renewal charges, then account for the O2 benefits and any exit cost you would lose.

A practical switching calculation that includes lost benefits

Start with the total O2 payments you would genuinely avoid. Subtract all planned Lebara payments, any exit or activation charges, and the real replacement cost of benefits you use. Do not count a perk at its advertised retail value when you would never have paid for it.

For example, an O2 customer on 50GB who has never used Priority, does not qualify for Volt and rarely travels may find the recorded Lebara saving compelling. Another O2 customer with the same headline allowance might have a heavily discounted contract, regularly use O2's included international calls or rely on a family broadband benefit. The correct calculation for those two people is different.

If your actual O2 rate is lower than the public Rolling example, do not compare against the public price merely because it makes the savings look bigger.

Does O2 Rewards narrow the price gap?

Potentially. O2 advertises Rewards for eligible Pay As You Go customers, including Rolling Plan customers. The published scheme can provide 5% back during an eligible customer's first six months and 10% afterwards, with quarterly reward accounting, registration requirements, redemption rules and expiry. O2's Rolling Plan page specifically mentions payments in the qualifying calculation.

This is not a 10% automatic cash discount from every bill. Eligible PAYG users must join the programme, qualify for rewards in the relevant quarter and claim or save them under O2's deadlines. Those saved rewards are not cash and can expire. Count only rewards you will actually use. Nor is Priority a cash rebate just because a presale or voucher is offered.

Lebara vs O2 coverage: is Vodafone better at your postcode?

Lebara uses the Vodafone UK network, while O2 uses its own. A switch therefore changes which radio network your mobile relies on. Nationwide coverage figures cannot tell you whether you will receive calls in a ground-floor flat, a rural workplace or on your regular rail journey.

Use Ofcom's Map Your Mobile checker to compare Vodafone and O2 indoors and outdoors at home, work and other important postcodes. Look at both 4G and 5G; a stable 4G voice connection may matter more than an impressive 5G peak speed. Check actual handset support for Wi-Fi Calling and 4G Calling too.

The UK network landscape is changing following the Vodafone/Three combination, but do not assume a Lebara SIM already gets every Three mast or every feature of a retail Vodafone contract. Use the actual service available on Lebara today. Our MVNO coverage and speeds guide deals with the broader wholesale-network question. Here, the issue is whether leaving O2 for this particular Vodafone-based SIM makes sense.

International calls: does Lebara give you more than O2?

Lebara is well known for international calling, but this comparison is more nuanced than 'Lebara includes international calls and O2 does not'. O2's qualifying 30GB and 50GB Rolling Plans include 100 international minutes to 42 countries, while its 150GB Rolling Plan has a different allowance. Lebara's named standard plans advertise international minutes to over 50 countries; some include more minutes or different destinations.

The plans are not interchangeable. A country appearing in one provider's destination list does not prove that every landline, mobile prefix or special number qualifies. In particular, the low-priced £8 30GB and £9 50GB Lebara deal cards do not specify international-minute entitlements, so check the relevant product at the final order screen.

How to compare an overseas number you call regularly

  1. Write down the exact destination, and whether you dial a mobile or landline.
  2. Estimate how many minutes you use during a normal month, including your busiest month.
  3. Check that number type against the specific Lebara offer and the appropriate O2 Rolling Plan or Pay Monthly terms.
  4. Work out the cost of any calls that exceed the qualifying allowance, rather than comparing a headline '100 minutes' with a headline '500 minutes' without the destinations.
  5. Add those costs to the plan renewals before choosing.

Someone calling a qualifying overseas number for 90 minutes every month could be covered by O2's 100-minute Rolling allowance; they should not buy a different SIM solely because Lebara advertises international calls. Conversely, if Lebara's precise tariff covers a destination O2 does not, the extra calling cost may justify switching even when the UK data price gap is small.

Calling from the UK to a foreign mobile is not the same as roaming with your UK SIM when you are abroad. App-to-app calls over Wi-Fi also have a different cost structure. For more country-specific options, see our UK international-calling SIM guide.

Lebara vs O2 roaming: which is better for Europe and India?

Lebara can be especially attractive for travellers whose exact plan qualifies for Roam Like Home in Europe and India; O2 has a different Europe Zone and a typical 25GB cap. Neither brand's UK allowance is automatically available in full overseas, and neither gives worldwide roaming with every plan.

Travel questionLebaraO2What to check

Long stays abroadLebara's Roam Like Home has a 120-day fair-use assessmentO2 also restricts prolonged roamingCompare residence and fair-use conditions, not just the GB number

Important Lebara caveat: the included Roam Like Home allowance generally uses your existing UK data, not additional data. Lebara's roaming policy includes surcharges where roaming usage outweighs UK usage over a continuous 120-day period, subject to its stated conditions. The selected DealPriceCheck affiliate cards do not list roaming individually, so confirm that the particular £8 or £9 product includes the entitlement before relying on it for a trip.

Important O2 caveat: a 10GB O2 UK allowance does not become 25GB in Europe. The 25GB is a ceiling on relevant larger plans, not a bonus. O2's Europe Zone also has its own list of eligible countries; Turkey and India are not automatically included in that standard zone. Benefits for O2 Plus, Ultimate or eligible Volt customers are separate from ordinary PAYG Rolling Plans.

If you travel only once a year and use a few gigabytes, choose mainly on UK value and reception. If you regularly spend weeks in India or use more than 25GB on qualifying European trips, the roaming differences deserve a serious calculation. Our UK SIM roaming guide covers the wider options.

What would you lose by leaving O2?

A lower Lebara renewal is not the whole calculation. These are the O2-specific features worth checking before you leave.

O2 Priority: only worth what you actually use

Priority offers eligible O2 and Virgin Media customers changing treats, ticket presales, offers and experiences. O2 confirms that qualifying Pay As You Go customers can use Priority, so it is wrong to describe it as a Pay Monthly-only benefit.

If you redeem a regular offer on something you already purchase, calculate your likely saving. If you only browse it once a year or never claim anything, assign it little or no financial value. A ticket presale may give earlier access, not necessarily a cheaper ticket. Some separate Virgin Media eligibility can remain even after moving your O2 line, but do not assume it without checking your account.

O2 Rewards: do you claim them?

Eligible O2 PAYG customers can earn programme rewards; the Rolling Plan offer promotes this benefit. Check whether you enrolled and whether any balance is usable before switching. A 5% or 10% rewards rate is not equivalent to receiving that percentage as cash in your bank account, and unused rewards may expire. If the benefit makes no difference to your normal spending, it should not outweigh a substantial recurring SIM price gap.

Data rollover: how much of your allowance do you actually bank?

Qualifying £10, £15, £20 and £30 O2 Rolling Plans can carry unused standard data into the next month, normally up to one full standard monthly allowance. The combined bundle cannot exceed twice the standard allowance. Rollover is lost if renewal fails or you change tariff, and it is not an unlimited store of spare gigabytes.

For example, an O2 30GB Rolling user who consumes 10GB in one month may carry up to 20GB into the next, provided all plan conditions are met. But someone who uses 10GB every month should check whether a smaller, cheaper plan makes more financial sense than paying £15 to accumulate a balance they rarely need. Lebara's selected standard 30-day bundles do not advertise a comparable rollover feature.

Volt: the household calculation could outweigh one SIM saving

Volt depends on eligible O2 Pay Monthly service and qualifying Virgin Media broadband at the same address, not merely having an O2 Rolling Plan. Benefits may include doubled mobile data, wider eligible roaming and broadband-related advantages for qualifying households.

Before porting an O2 Pay Monthly number, check whether removing that line changes the eligibility of other members, the broadband package or the value of existing benefits. If another qualifying O2 account remains, the outcome may differ. This is a household-level question; comparing one O2 airtime charge with one Lebara SIM price cannot answer it.

O2 Pay Monthly contracts and device payments

A Pay Monthly SIM may carry a minimum commitment, scheduled contract-specific price changes and early-termination charges. If you also bought a phone, its financing or outstanding device payments may remain payable after the airtime moves. O2 Rolling Plans are prepaid monthly products and do not follow the same Pay Monthly minimum-term or annual-rise schedule.

Ask for the actual amount owed before you switch. A hypothetical £100 saved on Lebara is not a saving if leaving your current agreement costs more than that over the period you would otherwise remain. See our SIM-only price rises guide for the wider contract rules.

Lebara 30-day vs 12-month; O2 Rolling vs Pay Monthly

The phrase 'SIM-only' covers materially different arrangements. Compare these four categories by commitment and payment cycle, not just the network logo.

ProductPayment and minimum termWhat to check before moving
Lebara prepaid 30-day bundleA fixed bundle for 30 days, with renewal or top-up arrangementsWhat happens after a promotion, to unused credit and if auto-renew is off

O2 Pay Monthly SIMContractual postpaid billing, sometimes with a longer minimum termApril price adjustments, early-exit cost, Priority/Volt/Extras eligibility and any device finance

Credit checks: Lebara's prepaid service advertises no conventional credit check. O2 Pay As You Go Rolling Plans are also available without the Pay Monthly credit agreement. Do not move networks solely to avoid a check if you could choose a qualifying prepaid product on the network that already works for you.

Price changes: Lebara advertises no automatic annual price rises on its highlighted plans, but that does not make introductory prices permanent; prices and product availability can change when a plan renews or a promotion ends, subject to terms. O2 PAYG Rolling Plan prices can change with notice; don't apply the fixed-term Pay Monthly annual-rise formula to a PAYG renewal. On a longer agreement, read the full disclosed payment schedule. See PAYG vs SIM-only explained.

Are Lebara and O2 both suitable for 5G, eSIM and Wi-Fi Calling?

Both offer 5G and Wi-Fi Calling/4G Calling on eligible services and supported handsets. But eSIM is a significant product-specific difference at the current check, particularly if you want to activate a Lebara number on a phone without a physical SIM slot.

Lebara's official help currently describes new-customer eSIM ordering as initially restricted to eligible iPhone Air users, with a separate conversion process for existing customers. The rollout may expand, so check your device and the exact Awin product rather than assuming eSIM activation is available.

Switching immediately before a trip? Lebara's eSIM help says the included Roam Like Home data allowance is temporarily unavailable during the first seven days after eSIM activation in the EU and India. A separate roaming add-on may be needed. This applies to the documented eSIM activation scenario; it is not a claim that all Lebara physical SIMs have a seven-day block. Check current activation rules before porting a travel-critical number.

O2 offers eSIM on eligible PAYG and Pay Monthly services, with device and activation requirements. The difference matters if your phone is eSIM-only or you cannot receive a physical SIM in time. For older or imported devices, verify Wi-Fi Calling, VoLTE and 5G compatibility as well. Both may support tethering under their applicable UK data and fair-use policies, but roaming rules can be different. See which UK networks support eSIM and our Wi-Fi Calling and VoLTE guide.

Who benefits most: light users, overseas callers, students and families?

Someone calling overseas regularly: shortlist a qualifying Lebara plan only after checking the actual country and mobile/landline coverage. O2 Rolling can also include international minutes, so the better choice isn't predetermined. If most calls are through apps on Wi-Fi, prioritise network reliability and data cost instead.

Someone using under 5GB in the UK: the Lebara 5GB £5 card may be enough, and paying for 30GB to improve the price per gigabyte is unnecessary. Check the finite 1,000-minute and text allowances on that card, rather than assuming unlimited calls everywhere.

A student or newcomer who wants flexibility: Lebara's 30-day prepaid options can avoid a lengthy contract and traditional credit assessment. O2 PAYG Rolling is also flexible; coverage, actual data needs, eSIM compatibility and payment arrangements decide which is easier. Our international-student SIM guide handles that broader audience.

Several people in one household: compare the sum of all SIMs, then check any O2 Multisave, Volt or account-linked arrangements. Buying separate Lebara SIMs does not automatically replace a household discount or confer an undisclosed family benefit. See our family SIM comparison.

How to switch from O2 to Lebara and keep your number

You can normally move your O2 mobile number to Lebara without cancelling it manually first. Take care if it is used for bank verification, business calls or multiple lines on one O2 account.

  1. Check your O2 agreement. Confirm whether you have a PAYG Rolling Plan or a Pay Monthly contract. Text INFO to 85075 to receive switching/contract information, and check any outstanding handset finance, household benefit or early-exit liability.
  2. Test Vodafone coverage. Use Ofcom's checker and, where possible, a temporary Lebara SIM to test reception at home, work and on your commute before porting the important number.
  3. Choose the exact Lebara product. Compare 30GB and 50GB with your actual data use. Check price after any promotion, renewal terms, roaming, included international minutes and whether your phone needs a physical SIM.
  4. Request a PAC from O2. Text PAC to 65075 from the number you want to keep. The code is normally valid for 30 days. For multiple numbers on one account, follow O2's account-based request process instead of assuming a single text covers every line.
  5. Give the PAC to Lebara. Follow its activation/number-transfer instructions. A qualifying switch normally finishes within one working day after the new provider receives a valid code; your old number should stop on O2 when the transfer completes.
  6. Check service and money afterwards. Test voice calls, incoming SMS, mobile data, Wi-Fi Calling and security texts. Review the final O2 charge and any continuing device instalments, and confirm Lebara's first and next renewal prices.

If you don't want to keep the number, text STAC to 75075 instead. Ofcom's switching rules prevent charges for an unused notice period after a completed qualifying port, but a legitimate remaining minimum-term charge can still be due. Our number-switching guide covers the fuller process.

Three switching mistakes that can erase your saving

Using the £9 Lebara 50GB card as if every Lebara 50GB product costs £9 forever. Our catalogue also has another 50GB offer at £15. The exact tracked promotion and any future price step are critical.

Assuming an O2 Rolling Plan is a standard O2 Pay Monthly contract. Only the qualifying products get their own international-minute, rollover, Rewards and Volt arrangements. A Rolling Plan's one-calendar-month renewal isn't a 30-day payment cycle.

Comparing only UK data while ignoring signal, a frequent overseas number or a household benefit. The cheapest spreadsheet row can still produce the wrong buying decision once your actual usage is included.

Lebara vs O2: frequently asked questions

Is Lebara cheaper than O2?

On the selected October 2026 catalogue examples, Lebara's tracked 30GB and 50GB rolling offers cost less per renewal than the equivalent O2 standard PAYG Rolling Plans. That does not prove Lebara is cheaper than your O2 renewal, a retention offer or a discounted Pay Monthly product. Compare the exact payment schedule and the benefits you would lose.

Does Lebara use O2's network?

No. Lebara uses Vodafone's UK network, while O2 is a separate network. Check Vodafone coverage where you use your phone before moving your O2 number.

Can I switch from O2 to Lebara and keep my number?

Yes. Check your current agreement and any remaining charges, text PAC to 65075 and give the code to Lebara. Let the providers complete the port rather than cancelling your old number first.

Is Lebara better than O2 for 30GB or 50GB?

At the checked prices, Lebara's 30GB (£8 per 30 days) and 50GB (£9 per 30 days) cards were cheaper than O2's standard 30GB (£15/month) and 50GB (£20/month) Rolling Plans. O2 can still justify its cost through better reception, eligible rollover, international minutes, Priority or redeemed Rewards. The particular Lebara affiliate offer must be checked for its normal renewal price and extras.

Can O2 Rolling Plans earn Rewards and roll over data?

Qualifying O2 Rolling customers can participate in O2 Rewards and carry eligible unused standard data into the next month, subject to payment, opt-in and rollover rules. Rewards are not guaranteed cash off each bill, and rollover cannot build without limit.

Is EU roaming better with Lebara or O2?

Lebara's qualifying Roam Like Home arrangements normally allow up to 30GB of the UK allowance in listed European destinations and India, with other destinations covered only when explicitly listed. Standard qualifying O2 Europe Zone phone plans normally allow up to 25GB, or the UK allowance if lower. The country lists and specific product eligibility differ, so check the destination and your actual deal.

Does Lebara include international calls while O2 doesn't?

No. Lebara advertises international minutes on named plans, but O2's qualifying 30GB and 50GB PAYG Rolling Plans also include 100 minutes to 42 eligible countries. Check the destination, number type and allowance on the particular offer. Our cheaper Lebara Awin cards do not state the precise international-minute benefit.

Does Lebara have eSIM and Wi-Fi Calling?

Lebara supports Wi-Fi Calling and an eSIM service, but its current new-customer eSIM ordering is restricted by handset model. At the check, its help page described support for new iPhone Air buyers and a separate conversion process for existing users. Verify your exact phone and offer before assuming you can use an eSIM.

Do I need a credit check to join Lebara or O2 Rolling?

Lebara's relevant prepaid plans advertise no credit check. O2's PAYG Rolling Plan is also a prepaid product, unlike a credit-assessed Pay Monthly agreement. Your coverage and buying terms should determine the decision, not a blanket assumption about O2.

Is Lebara 12-month cheaper than its 30-day SIM?

Not always. At our October 2026 check, the highlighted Lebara 30GB and 50GB rolling cards cost less per renewal than their selected 12-month counterparts. Those are different products, and the benefits or promotions may differ. Compare the exact minimum-term cost rather than assume a longer commitment means a saving.

Verdict: is it worth moving from O2 to Lebara?

Lebara deserves a serious look if your current O2 bill is high for the data you actually use and Vodafone works where you live. The Lebara 30GB and Lebara 50GB 30-day cards give useful starting points for a lower-cost, flexible switch, with potential added value from eligible international calls and Roam Like Home. Confirm that the specific tracked offer carries the features and renewal price you need.

Keep O2 in contention if O2 is reliably better indoors, you have a meaningful Pay Monthly/Volt arrangement, or the rollover, eligible overseas minutes, Priority and Rewards are worth the difference. If your existing O2 contract has a costly exit, moving immediately may be worse than waiting until its minimum term ends.
